Did you use the Jouneys kit?
Good eye! We used the AWD kit from Journeys Off Road for this lift.
Hi there,
How much is your charge to put in a 3″ lift for my 2019 AWD sienna? Does it void the warranty?
The lift runs $3,195.00 installed, when we do them we do need the Sienna for about 3 days. It does not void the warranty because we know that is one of the perks of having a new car, so we always try to use accessories that maintain the new car warranty.
We’re getting a 2019 AWD Sienna from a dealership in Tacoma (have to through my company) and will be driving it home to Bend sometime in the latter part of May. Assuming i get a lift done at Kendall, warranty will still be good as well even if the vehicle originates from out of state?
Yes, the warranty will still be good even on an out-of-state vehicle.
Why do you need the sienna for 3 days to have the kit installed?
Great question, Carlos. We say that we like to keep the vehicle for that long because there are a lot of parts involved with this lift and we want to be thorough. If it is complete before the 3 days, we will get the vehicle back as soon as it’s done, but we would rather over deliver than under promise.
How much does the lift affect the Sienna around curves?
That’s an excellent question, Andy. Any vehicle that we lift is going to have a higher center of gravity, whether it is a Sienna or even our Tundras. They’ll feel different when you drive them compared to stock. You’ll will notice it being a little more top heavy than factory, but it still feels like a Sienna going down the road.
Can you also lift the 2013 AWD Limited Sienna?
Amy, yes, that would be possible. The Sienna hasn’t changed too much since 2010 when it comes to the suspension so any vehicle from 2010 to now will be able to utilize that same kit.
Thanks for posting this video. After the lift kit is installed what is the ground clearance on a current gen AWD Sienna?
That’s a great question, Anthony. According to Google, the stock clearance is 6.6”, but without physically measuring one it’s tough to say. Unlike the overall height we can’t just add the size of the lift as there are other factors to the ground clearance.
What is the total vehicle height after the lift?
Thanks for the question, Gary. With the lift and leaving the factory tires (which is all we have done so far), it is going to be about 74” if it has roof rails and about 72” if it does not have the roof rails.
Happy New Years
I’ve been following the development of the sienna lift for several years now. A toyota dealership stepping into the fray adds credibility. I waited until a consensus with associated feedback developed. How many cars have you updated and have you experienced any related suspension issues.
My goal is to have a van that I can take on long road trips (daily driver) with the ability to access blm and forest roads. I’m planning a road trip to Alaska this year so reliability is key. A failure is a concern along with the ability to repair the vehicle if something does happen. This is a very cool and exciting update. From what you’ve seen is this update pushing the capabilities of the van. In short what are your real world observations and how would you temper a users expectations.
Regards,
Jim
Hi Jim,
We have lifted 2 Siennas, 1 lives nearby and has us do all of the services and raves about how much she loves it and hasn’t had any issues. The way that this lift is designed it is able to compensate for as much of the change as possible. With the lift you get extended brake lines to eliminate the stress on them, the exhaust gets re-routed and the rear axle is dropped to keep the axles in the correct spot. If you are going to be road tripping and taking the vehicle down tame blm roads this lift will be able to do most anything you ask of it in those instances. We hope that helps!
After the lift, how much bigger can you go with tires? Any specific sizes you know will work? Any issues with traction control or speedometer?
Hey Riley, we can fit 235/70R16, 245/65R17 or a 255/55R18. We haven’t had any issues with traction control far, but whenever you change the tire size on a vehicle it is going to alter the speedometer. At 60mph it is going to be about 3mph slower.
Were there any difficulties aligning the Sienna after the lift?
Hi Jacob, we haven’t had any problems aligning the couple of lifted Siennas our team has done.
This is a crazy idea, can you convert the 2010 toyota sienna to leaf spring suspension? if yes, how much would it be?
That’s a great question, Ronald. Unfortunately, we can’t do that because that is a ton of custom fabrication and it’s something that we wouldn’t be able to do.
