New Toyota Models Displayed at NY Auto Show

April 20th, 2015 by

Part of what makes visiting an auto show so much fun is getting a sneak peek at the future of cars and trucks. And that’s exactly what visitors to the New York International Auto Show got earlier this month when they visited the Toyota exhibits! Lucky audiences had a chance to see a new addition to the Toyota family, a new Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. Earlier models of the Toyota RAV4 have consistently been one of the automaker’s best-selling models, and the addition of the fuel efficiency and environmental friendliness of a Toyota hybrid should make this fantastic vehicle even better!

Other new offerings from Toyota were on display at the auto show. Toyota vehicles had a presence in the truck space of the event, showcasing an all-new take on an old favorite with the 2016 Toyota Tacoma. This new Toyota truck features a 3.5 liter V6 engine, a GoPro mount to allow drivers to capture their experiences and adventures, and a redesigned cab. At the Crystal Palace, car enthusiasts could catch a glimpse of a three-wheel concept vehicle, the Toyota FV-2, which operates based on natural and intuitive shifts in a driver’s movement, and novelties like a Toyota Prius wrapped in New York Yankees graphics and a distracted driving simulator that educated teens and their parents about the risks of driving while distracted.

The New York Auto Show may have highlighted the future of Toyota vehicles, but the present of these models is right here at Kendall Toyota of Bend. Whether you’re hoping to get a great used Toyota truck or planning to make your pick from our selection of new Toyota cars, Bend, Redmond, and Prineville drivers will be able to experience their own mini auto show right here at your local Toyota dealership. Stop by today and enjoy the current offerings from Toyota while you wait for the future to arrive!
